THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. . .

The Paypal button is set up for a 50% deposit for classes over $500. Uder $500 must be paid in full. Or make prior arrangements. Reservations for dates are not locked in until a deposit is made. The balance of the class must be paid in full within 30 days of class or additional fees may be applied. You can return to the same place on the website to complete your payment or we will email you with the paypal button. You may also pay by check but the payment must be received 30 days prior to class.

OTHER EXPENSES

Cruise and learns may include up to 1-2 nights (depending on number of total days booked) in a marina. Any additional nights at marinas will be at the expense of the student.

FOOD - Many schools charge a flat daily rate of $25 or more per person which can get expensive especially when you are only doing breakfast and lunch aboard. We do not charge for food and let you do the shopping so that you can take care of your particular dietary nees and desires.

TIPPING

While tipping is not mandatory it is always appreciated. if you enjoyed yoru Captain please tip accordingly. (it is considered part of the service industry 10%-20% is typical) what you are comfortable with.

RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION

Sometimes the weather is not conducive for sailing and class may be postponed or cancelled and rescheduled by the Captain. There is no change for cancelations due to wether. There are NO cash refunds for any reason. There is a 50% reschedule fee for ANY REASON except if the Captain reschedules due to weather. There is an additional 50% reschedule fee if not booked within 1 year of the original class date. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOU MAY NOT BE RESCHEDULED WITH THE SAME CAPTAINS OR LOCATION but they will all be in Florida if requested. Ignorance is does not make you execmpt from the rules. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are cash refunds given. You may be rescheduled with another captain if the original captain is unavailable at the time. This is at the discression of the owner and refusal to accept alternate arrangements constitutes fulfillment of the original contract.

It is highly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance especially during Hurricane Season (June - Nov) Some policies will pay for the cost of the class or the reschedule fees so please check.
